As part of the Tesco/Dobbies expansion framework, Mastercraft won the supply and fit joinery packages for seven new stores, in locations across the UK.
These stores included new builds at Lisburn, Glasgow, Liverpool, Peterborough, Gillingham, Ashford and Carlisle.
Each project consisted of external joinery works. This included a 4m high secure perimeter fence, consisting of timber both sides and metal posts incorporating sliding gates for delivery access.
Each store exterior was also fully clad in timber, giving it a more natural look suitable for this type of retail.
Mastercraft also built the ‘Plant Information Building’, at the rear of each store. This was a fully functioning outside office in which Dobbies staff could give their customers advice on how best to enhance their gardens. Mastercraft were responsible for constructing the timber frame building as well as its roofing and cladding.
Internal joinery fitout included all internal timber doors, frames, ironmongery and skirting throughout the store.
